The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in the 12th edition of the MEPEI Forum, held on June 25, 2026, with the theme “Middle East: Countering Fragmentation and Exploring the New Balance of Power”.
On June 23, 2026, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest was present at the event "Authentic Leadership: from position to influence", organised under the High Patronage of the Senate of Romania. The meeting discussed the difference between a person's position in an organisation and the influence they can have through their actions, communication, and interactions with others.
On June 22, 2026, the sixth edition of the Belt and Road Initiative Think Tank Conference, organised by the Belt and Road Institute, took place in Belgrade, under the theme "Geopolitical Notes of the Contemporary World: Music or Alarm?". The event brought together researchers, experts and decision-makers interested in recent geopolitical developments, digital cooperation and the role of artificial intelligence in international relations.
