Thursday, March 7, 2024, H.E. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Romania, Mr. Özgür Kivanç Altan, paid a visit to the headquarters of ICI Bucharest.
Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, gave a general presentation of the institute and its activity, emphasising the "Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest" (DISB), an event that will occur between April 16-18, 2024. In this context, the general manager extended H.E. Özgür Kivanç Altan the invitation to participate in the third edition of the International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy, as well as the seventh edition of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum, the Hackathon and training in the field of High Performance Computing, organised in the margin of DISB.
During the discussions, partnerships focused on the digital security sector were debated, the importance of this field being reiterated, especially in the context of the development of public digital domains.
This meeting represents a significant step towards strengthening Romania's partnership with Turkey in research, opening new horizons for joint projects. ICI Bucharest remains dedicated to strengthening partnerships and significant contributions to scientific and technological progress at the national and international levels.

On Thursday, April 25, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in the third edition of the conference "Cybercrime during the digitalization of the economy and in times of war", organised by Club Antreprenor and Ziarul Pozitiv, with Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry as partners, NutriLife and Romsym Data.
