ICI Bucharest participated in the "Ideas that change Romania" conference

ICI Bucharest participated, between April 23-24, 2024, in the conference "Ideas that change Romania", an event organized by the Commission for European Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies in partnership with the Ministry of Investments and European Projects, the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the National Council of Small and Medium Sized Private Enterprises in Romania and the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate.

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the institute, was one of the speakers who addressed the topic "Development of the cyber security ecosystem", aiming to identify the strategic directions for the consolidation of this essential sector in the current context of digital transformations.

“Cyber security is becoming increasingly pressing and essential for all of society as we all witness an increase in cyber threats. In this regard, it is imperative that we work together to create a robust and effective cybersecurity ecosystem. This involves investing in training and education, fostering collaboration between the actors involved and stimulating innovation and research in the field of cyber security.” stated the general director of ICI Bucharest.

The conference aimed to become a permanent platform for frequent meetings and applied discussions, aimed at contributing to Romania's sustainable and innovative development.
