ICI Bucharest participated in the conference "Cybercrime during the digitalization of the economy and in times of war"

On Thursday, April 25, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in the third edition of the conference "Cybercrime during the digitalization of the economy and in times of war", organised by Club Antreprenor and Ziarul Pozitiv, with Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry as partners, NutriLife and Romsym Data.

"I reiterate ICI Bucharest's determination to contribute to efforts to counter cyber threats. In an increasingly digitally interconnected world, collaboration and innovation are essential to securing our digital infrastructure and sensitive data. We are committed to continuing to be an active and engaged player in cyber security efforts, contributing to developing a safe and resilient digital environment," said Adrian Victor Vevera, the institute's general director.

The topics addressed were the collaboration of antimalware solution providers with European and local institutions (Europol, Romanian Police, DNSC) to combat cybercrime, types of crimes and solutions to combat them, the benefits of cybercriminals: DDoS and ransomware attacks, attacks without any file ("fileless") against banks, on POS, the level of investment to protect IT&C resources, insurance policies against cyber risks, up-to-date antimalware protection solutions from the suppliers' portfolio.
