ICI Bucharest held an introductory seminar regarding Artificial Intelligence in Chisinau

On March 27-28, 2024, ICI Bucharest held an introductory seminar in the field of artificial intelligence in Chisinau, intended for the diplomatic corps of the MFA, and other civil servants from the governmental structures of the Republic of Moldova.

The event was organized at the headquarters of the MFA of the Republic of Moldova in collaboration with the Diplomatic Institute of the Republic of Moldova and aimed to familiarize the participants with the fundamental concepts of AI, as well as with its main applications in various fields, biomedical, education, transport, agriculture, financial, science, military, diplomacy, adding representative examples.

Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, said: “We are delighted to bring our AI expertise to Chisinau and help raise awareness and understanding of this transformative technology. We hope that this seminar will be an important first step in the collaboration between Romania and the Republic of Moldova in the field of AI, to harness its potential for the development of both countries."

The seminar was held by a team of experts from ICI Bucharest, who presented a series of lectures and interactive workshops. Participants had the opportunity to explore various aspects of AI, from the basic principles of machine learning to the social and ethical impact of this technology.
