ICI Bucharest, through the BSC AI Factory initiative, invites you to the event "The Impact of AI in the Medical Field - Practical Session".

ICI Bucharest will organise on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Palace of Parliament, Senate of Romania, the workshop "The defense industry facing Dual-Use Technologies & NATO Requirements", an event that will be opened with an address by the President of the Romanian Senate, Mr Mircea Abrudean.

ICI Bucharest has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Codata Software Solutions, a company specialising in the development of integrated software solutions and modern digital infrastructures. The agreement was signed by Dr. Eng. Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, and Horia Sabo, CEO of Codata Software Solutions, establishing a framework for collaboration to develop and promote innovative digital solutions.

Two young researchers, members of ICI Innolabs within ICI Bucharest, Alexandru Bogdan Dura and Sebastian Balmuș, obtained 9th place in the international competition "Competition of Fairness in AI Face Detection", organised in the context of the NeurIPS 2025 conference, one of the most important events worldwide in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

On September 16, 2025, the project Romanian System for Identification and Marking of Wrecks on the Danube River - RoSIBEFD, code SMIS 2021+ 332354, implemented by TRENCADIS CORP SRL (Leader) in partnership with TECHNOHUB SRL, MINDWORKS SRL, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galați began.

Romania takes a major step towards strengthening its digital and research capacities by launching RO AI Factory, the first national Artificial Intelligence infrastructure, built by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest (hosting entity) and the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, together with a consortium of academic, research and industry partners.
