Students from Cyprus College Limassol covered programming in Unity, the Internet of Things, robotics, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence during a three-day visit to ICI Bucharest. The students are in Bucharest from 14 to 28 September 2026 as part of an Erasmus project.
The first day was dedicated to programming in Unity. The students worked on developing features to export information from the application, including generating a PDF from text and a CSV from a table.
On the second day, activities focused on the Internet of Things and robotics, emphasising how these technologies can be integrated into digital applications and systems.
The final day focused on high-performance computing and artificial intelligence. The students attended a presentation on how HPC infrastructures and AI Factories can support the development of intelligent agents, with practical applications and opportunities to access European computing infrastructure also being presented. Through these activities, the students explored a range of topics, from software development and robotics to artificial intelligence and high-performance computing resources. The visit took place at The National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, as part of the Erasmus mobility programme of the students from Cyprus College Limassol.
