Cooperation protocol between NAPC – ICI Bucharest

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest and the National Authority for Consumer Protection (NACP) signed a cooperation protocol on 9th of June 2021, with the aim of promoting the constant relationships in the areas related to the competences of NAPC and ICI, but also of increasing the mutual collaboration in the actions of each institution or in their joint actions.

International Internet Day

The contributions of ICI Bucharest to the introduction of the Internet in Romania: 1992 – The setting up of the first IP local register in Romania aiming at the IP address assignment for the Internet users from Romania, in collaboration with RIPE from Amsterdam; 1993 – Connecting the first users from the country to ROEARN (universities, research institutes).
