The event, now in its fifth year, was held on July 17th and 18th, 2014, and drew a large number of individuals from the cultural sector, university education, important persons from scientific life, and local officials.
This year's theme was "Open access to digital cultural information," and it included the launch of three volumes of books, as well as visits to the Malu Private Library and the most important historical sites from Câmpulung Muscel, in addition to the thematic papers held in plenary or parallel sections.
Mrs. Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Banciu - General Director of the National Institute for Research - Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest received the Diploma of Excellence from Romania's National Association of Librarians and Public Libraries for her outstanding contribution to the organization and promotion of the national cultural event.

These topics are being discussed from 22 to 24 September at EuroHPC User Days 2026, organised in Dublin by the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking – EuroHPC JU.
ICI Bucharest participated in the International Summer School “The Use of Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence Tools in Aquaculture”, held in Constanța from 7 to 11 September 2026. As part of the programme, the institute organised, through the BSC AI Factory project, the “Experiment Tracking for Computer Vision” training session, a practical course designed to help participants better organise their experiments and obtain results that are easier to track and reproduce.
ICI Bucharest took part in Cyber Readiness Day with a presentation focused on how organizations can assess their level of preparedness in the face of cyber threats. In the presentation “Cyber Readiness: A Consolidated Framework,” the ICI Bucharest representative introduced an approach based on organizational maturity, ranging from a reactive response to incidents to the ability to anticipate threats and adapt continuously.
