During November 3-4, 2022, the National Institute of Research and Development in Informatics is an exhibitor at the 11th edition of GoTech World. This annual event brings together all the essential actors in the Internet and Mobile fields.
On the first day of the event, at the "Business Transformation" stage, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the institute, discussed how ICI Bucharest supports both entities from the private sector and those from the public administration to adopt digital transformation in a safe and secure environment.
"Modern technologies have seen substantial evolution in recent years, significantly impacting every aspect of life: economic, social, political, and cultural. Every organization needs to embrace digital transformation to remain competitive in the market. ICI Bucharest carries out numerous projects to encourage both private and public sector entities to follow new digital directions." said Adrian-Victor Vevera during the presentation.
GoTech Wold includes a large exhibition area that brings together the most important IT companies, web developers, and online communication agencies and the nine stages - Main Stage, Business Transformation, Digital Marketing, Retail & E-Commerce, IT Ops, CyberSecurity, Java, DevOps, and Smart City. The most important innovators, influencers, and entrepreneurs in the tech field hold conferences, workshops, and panels.
The event includes, in this edition, over 120 content sessions, over 135 international and local speakers, over 130 exhibitors, and over 16,000 participants, of which more than half are from the C-level category.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in the third edition of the conference "Cybercrime during the digitalization of the economy and in times of war", organised by Club Antreprenor and Ziarul Pozitiv, with Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry as partners, NutriLife and Romsym Data.

On Friday, April 19, 2024, and Monday, April 22, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in two sessions of the Bucharest Leaders' Summit, an event organized by the Department for Sustainable Development, Media Group MediaUno and the National Institute of Statistics. The topics addressed were "Connecting the future: Digitization and cyber security of Romania" and "New horizons: Catalyzing progress through research and innovation".
