ICI Bucharest participated in two Bucharest Leaders' Summit sessions

On Friday, April 19, 2024, and Monday, April 22, 2024, ICI Bucharest participated in two sessions of the Bucharest Leaders' Summit, an event organized by the Department for Sustainable Development, Media Group MediaUno and the National Institute of Statistics. The topics addressed were "Connecting the future: Digitization and cyber security of Romania" and "New horizons: Catalyzing progress through research and innovation".

Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest, said: "Our participation in the Bucharest Leaders' Summit represents an opportunity to contribute to the debates about Romania's digital future and the role of research and innovation in the progress of our society. We have enjoyed sharing insights and collaborating with other public and private entities to identify common solutions and strategies in these vital areas for our country's development."

The theme under which working groups are held between April 3-26 is "License for a better world", to redefine the paradigms of global leadership and innovation. "Bucharest Leaders' Summit: License for a Better World" is committed to covering a broad spectrum of topics, stimulating high-level debates and exploring a variety of areas of national and global interest: from security, diplomacy, and international relations, to energy, agriculture, digitization and cyber security, finance and banking, education, research, innovation, health, demography, transport, construction and even gender equality.
