Today, May 13, 2024, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, participated as a speaker at the 7th edition of Newsweek IT&C Summit 2024. The event was organised by Newsweek Romania, with the theme "Resilience in Cyber Security - Approaches and Solutions for a Secure Digital Environment".
In the first panel, the general director of ICI Bucharest addressed topics such as risk identification and assessment, security measures, response to incidents, data recovery, and educating employees and users about cyber security risks and practices. "Cyber security cannot be treated as an afterthought in the digital age. We must proactively identify and manage risks, implement robust security measures, and adequately prepare to deal with incidents. Through collaboration between institutions, the private sector and users, we can build a secure and resilient digital environment." claimed Adrian-Victor Vevera.
The summit represented a platform to analyse and debate the trends and changes in the IT & C industry in Romania, giving the participants an overview of the directions of development and innovation in this key sector of the economy.
ICI Bucharest participated in the tenth edition of the "Workplace of the Future 2026" conference, organized on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, by The Diplomat Bucharest. The event brought to the fore the changes that will influence the organisation of activities in companies and institutions in the coming years, from the use of artificial intelligence in work processes to new forms of collaboration and flexible office spaces.
