Within the Research and Innovation Salon - UGAL INVENT, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Research and Innovation, held in Galaţi on October 19-20, 2017, VIBROCHANGE - Experimental Model for Detection and Diagnosis of Vibration Processes Using Advanced Measurement and Analysis Techniques based model (PN-II-PT-PCCA-2013-4-004, EUFISCDI-funded Project 224/2014) received the Gold Medal, the Diploma of Excellence and the UGAL-INVENT Trophy within the Informatics-Computers-Electronics-Electricity-Communication devices section.
The project was realized within a partnership formed by "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati (Project Director - Dr. Dorel Aiordăchioaie), National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics in Bucharest (Partner responsible - Dr. Eng Theodor D. Popescu), National Institute for Research and Development for Mechatronics and Measurement Technique in Bucharest (Partner responsible - Dr. Doina Daniela Cioboata) and SC TeamNet Engineering SRL from Bucharest (Partner Responsible - Dr. Eng. Nicu Roman).
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest and Athena Study and Training signed on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, an agreement on training and exchange of experience for students from Greece. The agreement was signed by Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, and Ioannis Papaioannou, representative of Athena Study and Training.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is a partner in the European project CyberINTEL-X – “From Detection to Action – The Next Generation of Operational Cybersecurity for SOCs and CSIRTs”. The project is coordinated by I-ENERGYLINK and is in the preparation stage of the grant agreement with the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre – ECCC.
