As a result of the resignations submitted by 9 members of the ICI Bucharest Scientific Board, this board has been self-dissolved according to art. 18 of the Regulation of Organization and Operation, starting with 18.10.2017.
According to the decision of the Administrative Committee dated 30.10.2017, the organization of new elections, which took place on 22.11.2017, between 12:00 and 14:00, was approved.
Following the counting of votes and after centralizing the results of valid ballots, the Voting Count Commission made public the composition of the new ICI Scientific Council Bucharest:

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest and Athena Study and Training signed on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, an agreement on training and exchange of experience for students from Greece. The agreement was signed by Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, and Ioannis Papaioannou, representative of Athena Study and Training.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is a partner in the European project CyberINTEL-X – “From Detection to Action – The Next Generation of Operational Cybersecurity for SOCs and CSIRTs”. The project is coordinated by I-ENERGYLINK and is in the preparation stage of the grant agreement with the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre – ECCC.
