October 27, 2016 – “The National Agenda on Critical Infrastructure” Roundtable

On October 27, 2016, at the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, ICIPRO Building (8-10, Mareșal Alexandru Averescu Blvd.) at the initiative of Transatlantic Romania HUB, it was held a roundtable titled “The National Agenda on Critical Infrastructure”, with the special participation of two global leaders: James Harris and Mark Kroeker.

James Harris is co-founder of Eunomic Inc. (between 2000-2013 he worked as head of the Counter-terrorism Section and the Department for Internet Operations of the FBI and Senior Liaison Officer at the Department of Homeland Security for FBI’s Cyber Division);

Mark Kroeker is Senior Partner at Kroeker Partners LLC (global expertise in programmes of reform of the justice and security sector, former UN Commissioner for Police, conducted the Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon Police Departments, and former Vice-chairman for Global Intelligence and for crisis management for Walt Disney Company).

“The National Agenda on Critical Infrastructure” event is a premiere in Romania and it was conceived as an open platform for the community of leaders and decision makers from public administration, public or private institutions, Romanian security experts or innovators, approaching topics at the border between technology and human nature, in the context of recent evolutions in the cyber and information wars.

The topics debated in the Forum are of the utmost interest: information warfare, physical and cyber-security on individual, organizational, national and international levels, from Smart City to Intelligence State.

At the same time, the event “The National Agenda on Critical Infrastructure” represented an opportunity for networking and professional development at the highest level, both for experts and other participants.

The event was held in partnership with National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest.
