”The International Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management 2019 (ITQM 2019)”

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics participated in the scientific event ”The International Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management 2019 (ITQM 2019)”, organised by the University of Granada between 3 - 6 November 2019.

The ITQM 2019 Conference was a forum for the exchange of research and case studies focusing on the latest information technologies and quantitative management techniques. This Conference explored the way how the use of information technology can improve the quantitative management techniques and how the evolution of management tools can model the development of the information technology. The accepted works were included in Procedia Computer Science (Elsevier) following a strict evaluation process.

On behalf of ICI Bucharest the following researchers participated in the ITQM 2019 Conference:

  • Eng. Gabriel Neagu – Scientific Director of ICI Bucharest and
  • Math. Constanta Zoie Radulescu – Scientific Researcher 1st degree, Department 7.6.

In the framework of the special section entitled „Computer Supported Collaborative Decision-Making: Methods, Tools, Systems, and Applications” two scientific works were presented.

Z., Rădulescu M., Alexandru A., Ianculescu M., Vevera V., A multi-criteria weighting approach for Quality of Life evaluation, Information Technology and Quantitative Management (ITQM 2019) conference, Nov. 3 -6, Granada, Spain, it will be published in „Procedia Computer Science”, Elsevier. This article received the „Best paper award” at the ITQM 2019 Conference.
  2. Gabriel Neagu, Marilena Ianculescu, Adriana Alexandru, Vladimir Florian and Constanţa Zoie Rădulescu, Next generation IoT and its influence on decision-making. An illustrative case study, Information Technology and Quantitative Management (ITQM2019) Conference, Nov. 3 – 6, Granada, Spain, it will be published in “Procedia Computer Science”, Elsevier.
