The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics participated in the scientific event ”The International Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management 2019 (ITQM 2019)”, organised by the University of Granada between 3 - 6 November 2019.
The ITQM 2019 Conference was a forum for the exchange of research and case studies focusing on the latest information technologies and quantitative management techniques. This Conference explored the way how the use of information technology can improve the quantitative management techniques and how the evolution of management tools can model the development of the information technology. The accepted works were included in Procedia Computer Science (Elsevier) following a strict evaluation process.

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated in the event as part of the “Digital Health” panel, alongside representatives of the European Commission, academia, and companies from the technology and healthcare sectors.

Cooperation between Romania and Japan can help address these challenges through joint research projects, the testing of artificial intelligence solutions, and technology transfer to industry.
