On Friday, October 30, 2009, from 9 am to 1 pm, it was held in the Iorga hall (pavilion 18, floor, Romexpo), as part of the exhibitions TIB 2009 and Inventika 2009, and was organized by ICI in collaboration with the project partners, the Project Workshop European FP7 217031ROMULUS - Domain Driven Design and Mashup Oriented Development based on Open Source Java Metaframework for Pragmatic, Reliable and Secure Web Development (DDD) and Open Source Java Metaframework-based mashup development for pragmatic Web software development, reliable and secure).
The Workshop's theme was "Promoting Open Source Technologies to Reduce Costs for Web Application Development and Increase Productivity" (Open source >> Technologies Promotion to Reduce Costs for Web Application Development and Increase Productivity ”). The following topics were discussed:

The workshop consisted of demonstrations and examples given by Luca Garulli (CTO AssetData, Technical Manager of the ROMULUS Project), David del Pozo, the project coordinator from Gesfor, Spain, and Emanuele Tagliaferri, from AssetData, Italy, demonstrations on which the participants, mostly from SMEs, were able to perform concurrently with the presenter. The workshop was designed for Web users who want to create and manage business portals in a variety of fields without the assistance of a computer scientist.
