The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics was present at RoCHI 2017 - International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction, hosted by the University of Craiova. The event was attended by academics, designers, developers, graphic experts and analysts.
Prof. Peter Forbrig of the University of Rostock, Germany, developed the basic technical program, and the conference proceedings were DBLP indexed and submitted for ISI and SCOPUS indexing databases.
ICI researchers presented 6 scientific papers, under the ”Social and Multimedia Networks”, ”User-Centered Approaches and Usability Assessment”, as well as ”Natural language processing” sections.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated, as a member of the Defense Industry Employers' Organization (OPIA), at the NATO Day 2026 anniversary event, organized in Bucharest on Monday, April 6, 2026, to mark the 22nd anniversary of Romania's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the round table on the theme "Public Policies for Space Romania", organised by the AGORA Center for Democracy and the Romanian Space Initiative, with the support of the Industry and Services Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest received a visit from the members of the Alexandria Local Youth Council (CLTA), a group of approximately 40 students.
