ICT projects, Communication Research Projects, SmartCity Data Protection and Academic Cooperation

Among the topics debated today at the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics ICI Bucharest were: joint projects in the field of ICT, communication research projects funding, data protection in SmartCity, as well as technical and academic cooperation. The event was attended by special guest such as: Motohiro TSUCHIYA (Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University, Japan and Deputy Director Keio Global Research Institute KGRI) and Izumi HARADA (Director, Institute for International Socio-Economic Studies, Japan).

Together with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the Ministry of Communications and Information Society, issues related to the cyber security strategy and responses to the Asia-Pacific region were discussed. Also, the participants had the opportunity to exchange views, ideas and best practices on strategies and directions of action in the field of cyber security.
