Today, May 23, 2023, ICI Bucharest was present at the first edition of the Romania-Korea Forum, thus marking 15 years since the signing of the Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Korea and Romania. The event took place at Creart and was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania and the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC).
At the opening of the event were H.E. Kap-soo Rim, the ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Romania, Mr. Traian Hristea, secretary of state in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, and Mr. Ben-Oni Ardelean, President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the Republic of Korea.
"The first edition of the Romania-Korea Forum represented a good opportunity to start collaborations, to exchange ideas, and develop a network of experts", said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest. "By fostering meaningful policy dialogue and coordination, we can develop a strong foundation for future partnerships that will enhance economic growth, technological progress, and societal well-being in both countries."
The event provided a platform for networking with decision-makers, industry leaders, and experts. The forum represents a starting point in establishing a solid network of professionals who will continue to promote dialogue, cooperation, and innovation between the Republic of Korea and Romania.
