ICI Bucharest – present at Club LeaderSpace, Gala of Excellence

ICI Bucharest participated on December 4, 2025, at Club LeaderSpace – Gala of Excellence, an edition dedicated to decision-makers from essential areas of the Romanian economy, such as agribusiness, food and beverage production, retail, HoReCa, the financial-banking sector, and renewable energies. The event, organised by Event Space with the support of Computerland Romania, brought together leaders and experts from the public and private sectors in an applied dialogue framework, focused on identifying the solutions needed to adapt industries to current challenges and accelerated market transformations.

At the centre of the discussions were topics of maximum relevance for the present and future of these sectors. The topic of food security and sustainability highlighted the importance of building resilient production and distribution chains, capable of responding to climate, logistical and economic pressures, and ICI Bucharest highlighted the role of digital technologies in supporting this transition, through data analytics, artificial intelligence and traceability solutions that can optimise production, reduce waste and increase transparency. At the same time, the topic of the “technological storm” and the impact on jobs generated a consistent debate on how rapid digitalisation is changing jobs, skills and the structure of the labour market, with ICI Bucharest highlighting the need to invest in training and professional retraining, so that technology is a catalyst for progress, not just a tool for automation.

The dialogue continued with the direct perspective offered by the HoReCa sector on the food chain, where concrete challenges related to supply, quality, predictability and costs were highlighted. The common conclusion was that digital interconnection among producers, distributors, and consumers can significantly improve efficiency, address imbalances, and build trust across the entire food ecosystem.
