The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest was a partner of the “Together We Protect Romania” Excellence Gala – 6th Edition, an event dedicated to recognising performance, responsibility, and leadership in strategic fields essential to Romania’s development and security.
The Gala took place on Monday, January 26, 2026, marking the 33rd event of the national “Together We Protect Romania” project. The event was organised by MediaUno Press Group and the MediaUno Association, in partnership with the Department for Sustainable Development and the National Institute of Statistics.
During the ceremony, Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, Director General of ICI Bucharest, presented the “Together We Protect Romania” Excellence Trophy to His Excellency Nicolae Comănescu, Ambassador of Romania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and to Prof. Univ. Dr. Adrian Streinu-Cercel, President of the Health Committee of the Romanian Senate.
The theme of this year’s edition, “One Thought: Romania!”, highlighted the importance of shared responsibility and the need for a united approach to building the future in a global context marked by rapid transformations and complex challenges.
ICI Bucharest remains an active partner of initiatives that promote excellence and public responsibility in Romania.
