ICI Bucharest participates in the Francophonie Economic Mission in Bucharest, dedicated to health and digital services

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participates in the Francophonie Economic Mission, organized in Bucharest, between June 10–11, 2026, by the International Organization of Francophonie, in partnership with the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade. The event brings together companies, public institutions, and representatives of authorities from member states, as well as from the Francophonie's associates and observers, creating the framework for collaborations in areas with major economic impact, such as health and digital services.

As part of the program, Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, is invited as a speaker in the panel “Intersectoral exchanges – digital sector (cybersecurity / data protection)”. The discussions addressed opportunities for technological cooperation, joint cybersecurity projects, and Romania’s role as a connecting space between the European market and the French-speaking economic environment.

"I am happy to participate in such meetings that bring together companies, institutions and specialists who can transform discussions into applied projects. ICI Bucharest is open to cooperation with partners from the French-speaking area, especially in sectors such as cybersecurity, data protection and advanced digital technologies", said Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.

The Francophonie Economic Mission in Bucharest emphasizes direct dialogue among companies, institutions and experts. The program includes thematic panels, B2B sessions, and visits to local companies. It is oriented towards professional contacts and concrete collaborations between Romanian economic actors and partners from the French-speaking area.
