ICI Bucharest Participates in Cambridge Tech Week 2026

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is participating in Cambridge Tech Week from 14 to 18 September 2026. The Institute is represented by its General Director, dr. eng Adrian-Victor Vevera.

This year’s theme is “How Deep Tech Changes the World”, exploring how artificial intelligence, advanced computing and other emerging technologies are moving from research to practical applications.

Throughout the event, the General Director of ICI Bucharest will hold several meetings with representatives of the research community, technology companies and public institutions. One of these meetings took place with Ceri Morgan CBE, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Europe at the UK Department for Business and Trade.

The discussion focused on opportunities for collaboration in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and cybersecurity.

Over five days, Cambridge Tech Week brings together researchers, company founders, investors, technology specialists and public-sector representatives. The programme includes sessions on artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, sustainability and the development of deep-tech solutions.
