The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the event "Digitalization, tax compliance and AI for operational efficiency" organized by SIMAVI, Săptămâna Financiară, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, Media Consulta, dedicated to digital solutions for streamlining financial, administrative and operational activities in organizations.
The meeting agenda included presentations and discussions on the use of ERP systems, automation of repetitive processes through RPA, SAF-T and eInvoice reporting, digital document management, internal approval flows, real-time financial analysis, and the use of virtual assistants powered by artificial intelligence.
The event was addressed to general and financial directors, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, finance and IT specialists, consultants and managers involved in digitalization projects.
The discussions analyzed problems frequently encountered in organizations, such as delayed financial reporting, data dispersed in different systems, errors in tax compliance processes, lack of document traceability, and the long duration of internal approval flows.
