ICI Bucharest participated as a speaker at the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Forum

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest, participated as a speaker in the second edition of the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Forum, organized by the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Center at The Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.

In the panel "Navigating towards Resilience: Technological Gamechangers", held in partnership with the Hudson Institute, discussions focused on emerging and disruptive technologies that will penetrate the maritime sector, expanding its potential.

"It is obvious that the frontiers of innovation and technological progress know no bounds. We often focus on terrestrial applications of emerging technologies, but it is imperative to recognize their potential in other areas as well. The possibilities are endless, from autonomous ships to advanced data analytics, from renewable energy solutions to maritime cyber security. Together, we can harness the power of innovation to unlock the vast potential of maritime space." said Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest.

On May 22, 2025, ICI Bucharest contributed to the roundtable "Overview of the current cybersecurity dynamics in the European landscape" organized by the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre, together with the partners of the ECYBRIDGE Project. This event was the first roundtable of the project, focusing on the current dynamics of cybersecurity related to Critical Infrastructure (CI).
