ICI Bucharest organised the event "Digitization and Innovation in the Public Administration"

Today, February 22, 2024, ICI Bucharest and the Ghidul Primăriilor organised the "Digitization and Innovation in the Public Administration" event.

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, said in the opening: "I am glad that you are present in such a large number, demonstrating a solid commitment to innovation and adaptability in the digital age. I invite you to carefully follow the examples of digitalisation because it represents an important step towards a more modern and oriented public administration geared towards citizens' needs. I am convinced this day will be informative and inspirational, and our discussions will lead us to concrete and sustainable solutions for the challenges we encounter in the digital age. "

During the event, over 40 administrative-territorial units (ATU) discovered how they could benefit from technologies such as Blockchain and NFT to improve their public services and build a strong brand for the city they represented. Moreover, by taking part in discussions focused on cyber security and developing digital skills, participants had the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge in the digital field. At the same time, the digital interoperability platforms that facilitate effective interaction with the citizens were presented, exemplifying digitalisation services for ATUs.

"Digitalisation and innovation in the public administration" represented a platform for exchanging ideas and good practices regarding the use of technology in modernising public services. With the active participation of the representatives of over 40 ATUs, the discussions highlighted the firm commitment to innovation and adaptation to the new requirements of the digital society.
