ICI Bucharest was at the Opening Conference of the Integrated Human Resources Management System (SIMRU), held on March 20, 2025, and organised by the National Agency for Civil Servants (ANFP). The event brought together human resources and IT specialists from the central public administration, marking an important step in digitalising human resources management processes.
During the conference, the benefits of the SIMRU platform and its impact on streamlining human resources activities in the public sector were discussed. This integrated digital system aims to standardise and automate essential processes, such as personnel administration, organisational management, timekeeping, leave requests, professional training records and reporting.
The event allowed participants to explore the platform’s expansion prospects, including the possibility of integrating a financial services module for managing attendance and salary rights in the central public administration.
ICI Bucharest representatives stressed the importance of digitisation and interoperability of government platforms, highlighting the contribution of research and development in optimising administrative flows. The institute’s participation in this event reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting the digital transformation of public administration in Romania. SIMRU is funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Milestone 177, being part of the “Digital Transformation in Civil Service Management” investment. This initiative is part of Component 14 – Good Governance, aiming to reduce bureaucracy and improve public services through a modernised and professional civil service.
