"HPC – High Performance Computing in Romania: perspectives, challenges and opportunities"

On Tuesday, October 12, 2021, the event “HPC - High Performance Computing in Romania: perspectives, challenges and opportunities” took place, organized by ICI Bucharest within the EuroCC project.

Through the event, ICI Bucharest aimed to inform key players in Romania about the latest technologies, demonstrating the applicability of HPC in three important sectors: business, academia and public administration.

ICI Bucharest strengthens civilian–defence cooperation in the field of cybersecurity within the ECYBRIDGE project

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest participated, between 20 and 22 January 2026, in a training event organised within the European ECYBRIDGE project, entitled “Utilising NIS2 Related Regulations/Implications in the Civilian–Defence Sectors’ Cooperation”. The event took place in Tallinn, Estonia, and was hosted by the Estonian company RiskSight.
