The book fair was organized for the third time in Câmpulung Muscel, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Banciu - General Director of the National Institute for Research - Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest and with the support of Câmpulung Muscel City Hall, with the theme "History and future through new technologies."
The fair brought to Câmpulung not only books published by major publishing houses, but also book researchers, librarians, and computer scientists. The fair's opening also marked the publication of a book, with Anca Barbu presenting her latest novel "Our Everyday Soup," a book that discusses Romanian realities as lived and felt by the author in her work as a politician and teacher.The participants in the fair were able to find out news in the field of librarianship by presenting studies conducted at the Academy Library about which Mrs. Gabriela Dumitrescu spoke, the Digital Library about which Mrs. Prof. Dr. Eng. Doina Banciu - ICI Bucharest online archiving of books, studies presented by Mr. Ionuț Petre - ICI Bucharest and Mr. Horia Cocheci - BSCI.
Participants included representatives from the country's most prestigious libraries, including the University Library of Bucharest, the Library of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the University "Valahia" Library in Targoviste, and, last but not least, the Library "Ion Barbu" in Campulung.
