Between October 27-28, 2022, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest participated in the conference organized by the Romanian National Cybersecurity Directorate - Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference. During the event, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the institute, discussed the promotion of Romanian initiatives in the cyber field, both in the academic area, hubs, and in areas such as research and cloud.

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest is participating between September 26, 2022, and October 14, 2022, in the 21st edition of the Conference of Plenipotentiaries of the International Telecommunications Union (PP-22). During the event, Romania obtained the 8th consecutive mandate in the ITU Council for Region C (Eastern Europe and North Asia), with the most votes received.
