Experimental model for change detection and diagnosis in vibration processes using advanced model-based measurement and analysis techniques

ICI Project Coordinator: Dr. Eng. Theodor D. POPESCU – Scientific Researcher I

Overall objectives of the project

The general objective of the project was to develop an experimental model for monitoring of vibration processes based on change detection and diagnosis (CDD), using advanced model-based measurement and analysis techniques, with the following specific objectives:

  • development, implementation and validation of new methods, techniques and algorithms for CDD;
  • optimization of classical, known algorithms for CDD;
  • information fusing resulting after and during CDD process monitoring;
  • development of a program library for CDD, implementing both the classic (known) CDD methods as well as those that will be optimized and developed within the project;
  • development and testing of an experimental physical model for CDD, with commercial, hardware and software valences, using the results obtained in the project at theoretical, algorithmic and methodological level.
