General objective of the project

The project aimed to contribute to supporting research, development and innovation in eHealth in Romania by correlating the provisions of the National Strategy on the Digital Agenda for Romania with the most significant approaches of successful e-Health solutions in Europe and other countries.

Project description

The project aimed to catalogue and evaluate good practices in the implementation and management of e-Health services at European and international level; to define an approach to e-Health solutions in line with current standards; to identify and select requirements for customizing, implementing and accepting eHealth solutions; to identify e-Health initiatives, solutions and best practices with the greatest impact on the health, social and personal health system in Romania; to fundament criteria for assessing performance and measuring the degree of use of various eHealth solutions.

Results

• analysis of the current situation in the field of e-Health at national, European and global level;
• a study on the impact of eHealth solutions on the health and social system;
• a comparative study of e-Health solutions and initiatives that highlights new directions for the development of e-Health solutions;
• study on indicators for the development and implementation of eHealth solutions;
• study on the instruments for measuring the degree of adoption, usability and efficiency of analyzed e-Health solutions;
• analysis to identify the requirements for the transfer to Romania of current good practices at European and global level, resulting in a Guide of good practices for the successful implementation and adoption of e-Health solutions;
• a study to present the actual local conditions and deficiencies in the development of e-Health solutions.
• a register of types of management of e-Health services;
• a register with a summary of information providing an overview of the selected e-Health initiatives;
• a roadmap with critical information regarding the development and implementation of good practices, solutions and e-Health directions in Romania;
• a study on the criteria for facilitating the achievement of transnational cooperation of e-Health solutions;
• an online platform "Comparative analysis of e-Health solutions in Member States and successful global models".
