Study on training and education needs at national level in the field of cyber security

Overall objectives of the project

  • analyzing the existence of programs and curricula dedicated to education and/or social-professional training in the field of cyber security;
  • analyzing cyber risks and identifying the social-professional categories exposed to these risks at national level as well as training and education needs of these categories;
  • national level analysis of the need for IT security specialists in the field for cyber security;
  • analysis the need to improve training and specialization programs in the field of cyber security;
  • developing a specific curriculum for the training of security auditors.

Project description

The project finds its usefulness by scientifically substantiating the proposed solutions, which will result in the implementation of curricula, strategy and follow-up actions, to ensure training and education at national level in the field of cyber security, as well as to increase the awareness of the dangers of the cyber environment.

Cyber ​​security training, education and professional training are required to make every user aware of the potential dangers they pose when they are in the online environment and to be protected from possible cyber attacks.

Results

  • theoretical contributions to the cyber risk categories and vulnerable social-professional categories;
  • theoretical contributions to modifying cyber security education programs for pre-university and university education;
  • developing a specific curriculum for the training of security auditors.
