e-Government and Interoperability: Proposals for solutions in the implementation of the European Interoperability Framework at a national level - examples of good practice from EU Member States

Overall objective of the project

  • the creation of a set of recommendations for solving issues related to the current situation of the field and the topic addressed, as follows: identification and selection of best practices used in EU Member States, regarding e-Government and interoperability and, based on this, elaboration of proposals for solutions for the implementation of the European Interoperability Framework at a national level.

Project description

The project considers the specific objectives of the Sectoral Plan on facilitating the necessary conditions for the operation of e-Government services, interoperability by correlating strategic development lines in adapting the national context to European standards/recommendations.

The proposed solutions/recommendations will ensure the correlation with the explicit requirements within the “Digital Agenda for Romania” and the alignment of Romania with the “Europe 2020 Strategy”.

Results

  • theoretical contributions on interoperability at national level;
  • analysis on the selection criteria of the most representative technologies, good practices and e-Government solutions;
  • elaboration of a set of characteristics regarding the impact of ICT for governmental information services in Romania;
  • elaboration of a set of recommendations for the implementation of technologies and for the development of interoperable government services at national level;
  • elaboration of four technical-scientific reports for the four stages of the project.
