Between June 30 and July 2, 2017, the Romanian Intelligence Service, together with CERT-RO and the National Association for Information Systems Security, together with Bitdefender, Orange, Microsoft, Check Point, eMag and Enevo Group partners, organizes the online selection of the national team for the "European Cyber Security Championship".
The first stage will be followed by an on-site selection that will include exercises in the field of web application security, cyber attack and defence, cryptography, network traffic analysis, reverse engineering, and public presentation.
In order to support the team selected to represent Romania at ECSC2017, SRI, together with its partners, will organize training sessions to increase expertise and develop team spirit.
ECSC2017 will take place in Malaga, Spain, between October 30 and November 3, 2017.
Each participating country will be represented by a team of 10 competitors divided into two categories, 16-20 years and 21-25 years, each category with 5 competitors.

The Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB) 2025, which takes place from 8-11 April 2015 at the Palace of Parliament, will see the inauguration of the Blockchain Intelligence Forum (Thursday, 10 April 2025), an event dedicated to exploring, understanding and capitalizing on the potential offered by blockchain technology.
