The meeting of the General Director of ICI Bucharest with the Ambassador of Switzerland in Romania

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), received the visit of His Excellency Mr. Massimo Baggi, the Ambassador of Switzerland in Romania.

The meeting represented an excellent opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations between Romania and Switzerland, highlighting the commitment of both parties to promoting collaboration in areas of common interest, such as scientific research, education, fintech and cyber diplomacy.

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, presented the institute's activities, emphasizing the expertise in the fintech area by presenting the inter-institutional NFT Marketplace. At the same time, he highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue and the exchange of ideas to promote joint projects that contribute to scientific and technological progress, an example being the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB), organized by ICI Bucharest. In this context, the General Director extended H.E. Massimo Baggi the invitation to participate in the third edition of the International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy within DISB.

This meeting marks the premises for innovation and progress in the technological fields addressed. ICI Bucharest remains dedicated to strengthening partnerships and making significant contributions to scientific and technological progress at the national and international levels.
