The meeting of ICI Bucharest with the delegation from South Korea, led by Bo-ram Suh

Today, November 28, 2022, at the headquarters of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), there was a meeting of the institute's delegation, led by Adrian-Victor Vevera - the general director of ICI Bucharest, with the delegation from South Korea, led by Bo-ram Suh, Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

The topics of discussion focused on the field of e-governance, ICI Bucharest presenting some of the projects carried out in this regard: the use of blockchain technology to increase the degree of trust in governance, National Competence Centers in HPC (High Performance Computing), the project "Once-Only" Principle (TOOP) on engaging public administrations to increase efficiency in the European digital single market, study on intelligent behavioral analysis systems (institutional and user level) on online public services.

Representatives of the Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, the Korea Customs Service, the National Tax Service, the Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute, and the National Information society Agency also attended the meeting.

The National Institute for Research - Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest represents the most important research-development and innovation institute in Information Technologies and Communications in Romania. By assuming the field's scientific and technological priorities, ICI Bucharest's mission is to consolidate the position won.

Between January 30 and February 1, 2023, a delegation from the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest) participated at the Cybertech Global event in Tel Aviv, Israel. For three days, Cybertech Global comprised an exhibit hall and various conference sessions, with topics focused on cybersecurity in critical infrastructure, finance, healthcare, defense, insurance, manufacturing, automotive, and more.

ICI Bucharest participated in the Consultation Forum on Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security Sectors

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest) was represented as moderator of Working Group 3 on the Protection of Defence-Related Critical Energy Infrastructures with responsibilities in agenda setting, organization, the definition of deliverables, and coordination for production and delivery, within the Consultation Forum on Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security Sectors.

ICI Bucharest is involved in the cooperation agreement for the consolidation of the field of information technology

On Monday, December 12, 2022, in Chișinău, a Cooperation Agreement was signed to strengthen the field of information technology on both sides of the Prut. The objective of the Agreement is to increase the level of digital skills of public administration personnel, as well as to improve the digital infrastructure and digital capabilities of Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
