ICI Bucharest hosted today, June 6, 2024, the meeting between Adrian-Victor Vevera, general director of ICI Bucharest, and Luca Tagliaretti, executive director of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
Adrian-Victor Vevera reaffirmed the institute's commitment to actively collaborate with the ECCC: "In the field of cyber security, partnerships are crucial to face today's challenges. We must work together to develop innovative solutions and strengthen cyber security at the European level."
An essential component of the discussions was also the exploration of cyber diplomacy, underscoring the need for a robust and coordinated international dialogue to address global cyber threats. Both sides emphasized the importance of cyber diplomacy in promoting a secure and stable internet, as well as facilitating international cooperation in the field of cyber security.
This meeting facilitated a valuable exchange of ideas and best practices, strengthening the basis for future collaborations and initiatives aimed at effectively combating cyber threats at the national and European levels.
