The ICI D|SERVICES project launched in Paris

The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest) launched, in Paris, the ICI D|SERVICES project, the first institutional platform for trading digital assets (NFT Marketplace) in Romania and the European Union.

The first two partner entities are the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, with the collection "The Generational Circle - from Paris 1924 to Paris 2024" and Agerpres, with the collection "Memories from the Future Self - Taking the historical moments that shaped who we are today into the future of the internet": https://www.nft.ici.ro.

David Popovici is the first athlete to join this important initiative, being the pioneer of "The Generational Circle" collection.

"The future is here. Together with MultiversX, we are bringing the future to Romania, creating the first institutional NFT trading platform. We are convinced that this is only the beginning." Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, said.

During the presentation in Paris, the creation of a new DNS and TLD system using Blockchain and Web3 technology was also mentioned, a project also carried out together with MultiversX.

Context: Between November 3-5, 2022, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest) was present at the X Day event organized by Elrond.

Today, November 22, 2022, ICI Bucharest received the visit of the delegation of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics "Vladimir Andrunachievici" from the Republic of Moldova, on the occasion of which the cooperation protocol between the two institutes was signed. Mr. Adrian Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, and Mrs. Inga Ţiţchiev, the director of the "Vladimir Andrunachievici" Institute, signed the document.
