The General Director of ICI Bucharest had a meeting with the President of the Social Protection, Health and Family Commission of the Republic of Moldova

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest), met on Thursday, March 28, 2024, with Adrian Belîi, the President of the Social Protection, Health and Family Commission of the Republic of Moldova, to discuss collaboration in the digitalization of the social sector.

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of the institute emphasized the importance of using information and communication technology (ICT) to improve the quality and efficiency of social services, as well as to facilitate citizens' access to these services.

The meeting focused on topics related to the digitization of social protection, health and family systems in both countries, from the use of information systems for social case management, the development of online platforms for citizens to access information and social services to the promotion of digital inclusion of vulnerable people.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue collaboration in areas of common interest and explore the possibility of implementing joint projects.
