ICI Bucharest supports the promotion of Bistrița-Năsăud county through an NFT collection

Today, May 31, 2024, ICI Bucharest is present in Bistrița, where the leadership of the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania, and the Romanian research and development institutes met for a conference in the field of innovation. One of the topics was the presentation of the results of the Nucleu program, dedicated to Romanian research.

Adrian-Victor Vevera, the general director of ICI Bucharest, said that Bistrița-Năsăud will be the first county to be promoted in the NFT (non-fungible token) area: "One year ago, we launched the first European institutional platform for trading digital assets, through which we want to promote Romania's values. We started with Agerpres, the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, the "Carol I" Central University Library, and from this year, since the operationalization of the NFT Museum, Bistrita Năsăud will have the first collection in which the most representative monuments, places, images from county, to also address digital natives, who are looking for such information in the virtual world. I thank the minister, Mr. Bogdan Ivan, who was with us and understood the importance of this project, so that a county can promote its offer also in the virtual space, dedicated, in particular, to young people."

The press conference was attended by Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, Emil Radu Moldovan, president of the Bistrita-Năsăud County Council, Tudor Prisecaru and Andrei Alexandru, state secretaries in the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, Dragoș Cristian Vlad, the president of the Authority for the Digitalization of Romania, Vasile Țopa, the rector of the Cluj–Napoca Technical University, Gabriel Lazany, the manager of the Bistrița County Emergency Clinical Hospital and Teofil Cioarbă, the prefect of the Bistrița-Năsăud county.
