The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest signed today, January 20, 2026, a cooperation agreement with the National Union of Romanian Employers (UNPR).
The agreement was signed at the institute’s headquarters by Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, and Ioan Lucian, President of UNPR. The agreement aims to facilitate cooperation between the two institutions to analyze skill and qualification requirements and to organize courses and professional training activities in areas of common interest, depending on identified needs and available resources.
"Through this agreement, ICI Bucharest aims to contribute to a better correlation between the professional training needs of the economic environment and the training programs that can be developed in this regard. The collaboration with UNPR creates a working framework that allows the structuring of training activities adapted to the identified requirements", stated Dr. Eng. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
The document creates the necessary framework for collaboration between ICI Bucharest and UNPR, with a view to facilitating the exchange of experience, developing joint initiatives, and supporting innovation and digitalization activities, in accordance with the objectives assumed by the parties.
