The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with ASELSAN Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a company active in the field of research, development, and production of electronic systems and advanced technologies.
The general objective of the cooperation agreement is to establish a framework for collaboration between the two organisations, aimed at identifying common areas of interest in research and innovation, and facilitating the exchange of information and expertise, in accordance with each party’s fields of activity.
The implementation of the agreement will focus on defining areas of mutual collaboration, in line with the objectives and domains of activity of both organisations.
Through this initiative, ICI Bucharest contributes to strengthening international cooperation and developing partnerships that support research and innovation activities, in accordance with its institutional mission and assumed priorities.
From March 10–12, 2026, the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest will host the 2026 edition of the Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest (DISB), an event organised by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, under the High Patronage of the President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Government of Romania.
