The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest played an active role in the Türkiye–Romania Technology Business Delegation, a bilateral event taking place on 27–28 January 2026, which brought together representatives of public authorities, the business community, and technology companies from Romania and Türkiye.
Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, was invited to speak at the event, where he delivered an intervention on the role of research, innovation, and international cooperation in the development of digital ecosystems, with an emphasis on cybersecurity, advanced technologies, and intelligent solutions for critical infrastructure.
On the sidelines of the event, ICI Bucharest signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with InfoDif – Information Diffusion, a startup from Türkiye operating in the software and security field, with expertise in Video Surveillance and Intelligent Video Analytics.
The Memorandum aims to develop joint research and innovation projects, facilitate the exchange of technological expertise, and identify opportunities for implementing and testing intelligent video analytics solutions in civil, industrial, and security-related contexts, at both national and European levels.
“Through this Memorandum, ICI Bucharest aims to explore concrete collaboration opportunities with InfoDif, particularly in the area of video analytics and security solutions. The partnership establishes a working framework for the exchange of experience and for the development of joint research and testing initiatives,” stated Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
