ICI Bucharest hosted, on December 4, 2025, a visit by a delegation from Türksat, a satellite communications operator based in Turkey, led by Mr Orhan Koca, Deputy General Manager. The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral dialogue and analyse possibilities for collaboration in applied research, digital infrastructure, and communication services.
During the visit, Türksat representatives discussed potential joint projects with the ICI Bucharest team in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, solutions for large-scale data analysis and management, IoT/edge-cloud technologies, and critical infrastructure protection, all of which are among the institute's areas of interest.

ICI Bucharest remains dedicated to building international bridges that accelerate innovation and technology transfer for the benefit of society and the digital economy,” said Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
The two parties agreed to continue the dialogue in the coming period to identify feasible initiatives and projects in accordance with the interests and competencies of each organisation.
