Between July 7-8 2022, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI Bucharest) participated in the Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum held at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.
The event gave parliamentarians and government officials from around the world the opportunity to interact and benefit from the experience of international specialists in areas of interest.
Topics covered at the forum included challenges in the defense field, security, and information, cyber security, 5G, artificial intelligence, the war in Ukraine, the future of diplomacy, and energy security.
During the two days, politicians worldwide participated, especially ministers or representatives of the ministries of defense and home affairs.
The edition organized this year in Bucharest is the 22nd, the Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum reaching, in total, the participation of over 2,400 parliamentarians and government officials from 110 countries.
