The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - ICI Bucharest organizes, in online format, on May 22, 2026, the event "Tech Sparks: Business Meets AI", held within the BSC AI Factory initiative, part of the European ecosystem for innovation in artificial intelligence.
The event is aimed at companies, start-ups, entrepreneurs and professionals interested in understanding how they can transform ideas based on artificial intelligence into scalable solutions, with real impact in the activity of their organizations.
"Tech Sparks: Business Meets AI" offers participants an introduction to the opportunities made available through BSC AI Factory, with a focus on accessing and using high-performance AI infrastructure for testing and developing applications adapted to the needs of companies and organizations. The event program will include a presentation on the BSC AI Factory initiative, an introduction to the BSC infrastructure available for AI projects, and interventions by teams that have already used the EuroHPC AI Factory resources. These examples will provide a practical perspective on how infrastructure, expertise and collaboration can contribute to the development of AI solutions with economic and organizational relevance.
The event will also address the path from idea to development, through the opportunities offered by the incubation programs in the BSC AI Factory ecosystem. Participants will be able to explore possibilities for collaboration among the business environment, the research community, and technology providers, within a framework oriented towards applied innovation.
