The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is a partner of the 9th edition of the Smart City Industry Awards (SCIA), which will take place on May 27, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM, at the NORD Events Center by Globalworth.
Organised by the Romanian Smart City Association in partnership with the Government of Romania, through The Secretariat - General of the Government – Department for Sustainable Development, the event brings together leaders from public administration, business representatives, urban policy experts and technology specialists.
At the opening of the conference “City of the Future: Technology, Data and Efficient Administration”, Mr. Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, highlighting the role of technology and data in creating efficient, transparent and citizen-oriented public administrations, as well as the institute's contribution to the development of innovative digital solutions that support this endeavor.
SCIA 9 is the reference event for the Smart City community in Romania and South-Eastern Europe – a platform dedicated to technology, efficient administration and public investments.
Over 600 participants – mayors, ministers, representatives of the European Commission, technology companies, opinion leaders and investors – will be present to build new partnerships, launch solutions and support the transition to smarter and more sustainable cities.
