ICI Bucharest explores opportunities for cooperation
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest, met with Alexandru Dan, CEO of TVL Tech and Associate Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, and Mihai Gheorghe, lecturer and researcher at the same university.
The discussions focused on potential cooperation in artificial intelligence, applied research, and emerging technologies, as well as ideas for joint projects.
“For ICI Bucharest, it is important to stay connected with developments in research, academia, and industry. Meetings like this help us identify areas of shared interest and projects that we can build together,” said Adrian-Victor Vevera. The topics discussed also included the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement that could provide a basis for future joint projects.

CI Bucharest welcomed H.E. Le Vinh Thang, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Romania, to discuss new opportunities for cooperation in research and technology. The meeting also explored researchers' participation in programmes that could support direct collaboration between teams from Romania and Vietnam. Students from Cyprus College Limassol covered programming in Unity, the Internet of Things, robotics, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence during a three-day visit to ICI Bucharest. The students are in Bucharest from 14 to 28 September 2026 as part of an Erasmus project.
